Wagner does indeed look like his cap is airbrushed but I'm not sure if this set was ever designed to be issued in the format we're seeing it and if Topps just culled what was in their files; hard to say. It's almost like their default concept art, which was in use throughout a good chunk of the 60's for internal mockups and the like, originated with these cards. The Wagner hat is airbrushed with what looks more like a Dodgers cap than an Angels one. The Wagner card may indicate that the set was made when the Angels logo was still unknown.Eric C.
